US Bank Releases Business Card with 48 Bonus Categories

US Bank Business Leverage Visa Signature
US Bank recently released a new business credit card called the US Bank Business Leverage Visa Signature. The card features 48 potential bonus categories of which card holders will earn 2x on two categories out of the 48. The card also features 1 extra point per dollar spent, up to 100,000 points in the first year, instead of a sign up bonus, so that is 3x on the bonus categories in the first year. The card charges an annual fee of $95, waived for the first year.

Earn 10% Back at Shoprite with Chase Freedom

I received an email this morning from Chase introducing a new promotion they are running, where they are allowing Freedom card holders to earn 10% back at Shoprite in October. Q4 5% earning categories for the Freedom card are Chase Pay, department stores and wholesale clubs. So you can get 5% when using Chase pay at Shoprite for the whole quarter. Ordinarily you wouldn’t be able to earn double cash back (5% for Chase pay and 5% for another category at the same time), Chase states this in their terms and conditions. But they seem to be allowing this with Shoprite on a limited amount of spending.

You Can Now Freeze Your Credit Report for Free

You can now freeze your credit reports from the three major credit bureaus free of charge. This is thanks to amendments to the Fair Credit Reporting Act that were passed as part of the Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief, and Consumer Protection Act in the House of Representatives on May 22nd. The new regulations just came into effect last Friday.
