There is a new credit card in town. Air France KLM has teamed up with Bank of America to release their first ever credit card in North America. Although you can transfer Chase, Citi, Marriott and Amex points to Flying Blue (the joint loyalty program of these two airlines) this is the first and only credit card in the US that earns their points directly.

Save Over 60% on Uber Rides (Amex Offer)

Amex offers are one of my favorite features of American Express cards. These offers can be added to your card in your Amex online account and typically refund a certain amount of money at a certain store if you spend over a certain amount. For example spend $50 at X store, get $10 back. This obviously benefits Amex and these stores, because it serves as advertising for them, shop there once with an Amex offer and you may like it so much you continue to shop there! But still, wise consumers can save a lot of money by maximizing Amex offers.

Citi ThankYou Premier 60k Bonus Extended

We reported recently on the 60k sign up bonus on the Citi ThankYou Premier card ending on Ocotober 11th 2018. This was the official end date for the offer, but it seems now Citi has extended that offer, with no end date currently listed on their website.

Amex Expands Referral Program: Your Chance to Earn Extra Points

American Express has expanded its referral program to include referral options for cards that you don’t actually have. Amex will now let you refer friends and family to any card in the series of cards that you have one of, to the business version of a card you have, or in some cases, even to other cards you have no link to.

Barclays Arrival Premier Closed to New Applicants

The Barclays Arrival Premier card was introduced in April this year and it was Barclays’ first credit card that had a system of transferable points – the the most desirable type of rewards system in the credit card world. With a transferable points system, points can be transferred to airline partners and normally can be redeemed for far greater value than points that have a set value (1c per point in the case of the Barclays Arrival+, which is still available). Transfer partners included Etihad, Eva Air and Qantas, plus several more.
