Chase is offering Chase Freedom Unlimited cardmembers a new perk – in addition to the standard $200 sign up bonus after $500 in spend, you can now also earn 5% cashback on your grocery store purchases (excluding Target or Walmart purchases) on up to $12,000 spent in the first year. You can take advantage of this offer if you have not received a new cardmember bonus for this card in the past 24 months.

If you opened a Chase Freedom Unlimited account earlier this summer, you can send a secure message at Chase.com to request a match – adding 5% grocery offer in addition to the current $200 sign up bonus. Some of our readers have reported that they qualified to receive the offer and got a confirmation message from Chase.
