The Chase Refer a Friend Page

Chase sometimes offers better welcome bonuses through referral offers. In addition to that, you can earn a bonus by referring your friends. So in this article I am going to show you how to refer people and give you one example of a welcome bonus that is way better than the public offer that is only available through referral links.

How to Refer People to Your Chase Card

Step 1 go to this website https://www.chase.com/referafriend

Step 2 enter your last name, zip code and last four digits of your card number

Step 3 Find your referral link on the next page and give it to your friends

I am demonstrating this with the Chase Freedom card and in my case I will receive $50 for every person I refer. The person can get the Freedom Unlimited, Freedom Flex, Freedom Student or Chase Slate Edge from my Freedom referral link. That is considered one family of cards. So if you have a Sapphire Preferred you will be able to refer to the Preferred or Reserve, if you have an Ink Preferred you will be able to refer to any Ink card etc…

Chase Freedom 5% Grocery and Gas Bonus

Back to the Chase Freedom. The person being referred will get a welcome bonus way better than the public offer, $800 in total, if they max it out. $200 for spending $500 in their first three months and then 5% on grocery and gas on $12,000 in spend for 12 months.

Here is a link to that offer through my referral link, direct link to offer

But if you have friends who have this card, you can consider helping them out and using their link. Just don’t ever refer yourself since that will attract the attention of the rewards abuse team and you could end up losing your points or getting accounts shut down.
